The book — “Loscy & Me: The Artist & The Boston Celtics Legend, Jim Loscutoff” — was finally published and includes more than 100 vintage photographs (some never printed before now) and a foreword by former Boston Celtics coach and NBA legend Arnold “Red” Auerbach who died in 2006 at age 89. Jim Loscutoff, a star basketball player at Palo Alto High School in Palo Alto, Calif., where he graduated in 1948, attended Grant Technical College, a two-year college near Sacramento, before heading to the University of Oregon.
